Volunteers will receive the gift card of their choice.

Who is Beth Prewett and why should I help her dissertation research?
I am a doctoral student at Capella University who is very invested in multicultural issues regarding psychological testing and assessment. While working at the Bugonaygeshig School and while going to school, I found that psychology has sometimes done an injustice to human beings because of cultural and value differences and misunderstandings. I\\\'d like to do this research to, at the very least, open some minds in the field I have chosen to go into and to work towards culture fair testing. The research will not cure any ills that have been done and continue today, but change has to start somewhere. I also have a lot to learn and I believe learning it from PEOPLE instead of books can help me tremendously grow as a clinician. So, I am asking your help.
How can I participate?
I have testing sites set up on and around the reservation. If you are interested in participating, please contact Beth Prewett at 218-256-7341 or bethprewett@hotmail.com. If I am not home, please leave your name and a way to contact you regarding testing sites, dates, and times. Miigwetch!
